In 2019, Max founded Leap Digital after realising that his true passion wasn’t just in running businesses, but in helping them thrive through the power of digital marketing. But his entrepreneurial journey started long before then. Leaving school at sixteen, Max sailed around the UK with a four-man crew for 90 days—an adventure that instilled in him a deep sense of purpose, resilience, and the drive to achieve the seemingly impossible. Upon his return, he worked various jobs before qualifying as a mortgage and insurance broker.

Fast forward to 2010, Max launched a mortgage and insurance brokerage in Colchester, managing a team of eight brokers. The need for a constant stream of leads pushed him to create a 70-man call centre and develop lead generation websites and social media campaigns. His knack for marketing didn’t go unnoticed; Scottish Power soon approached him, requesting the same lead-gen magic for their energy services. At this point, Max realised that marketing was not just a tool to grow his own business—it was a service in high demand. So, he sold the brokerage and pivoted to what would become Leap Digital, a full-service digital marketing agency with over 20 years of marketing experience under its belt.

Today, Leap Digital has grown into a team of eleven, and they’ve carved out a specialisation for helping SMEs grow. But their mission goes beyond simply growing their own business. Max and his team are passionate about helping local businesses in Essex and London succeed, contributing to the community by creating skilled jobs, and empowering business owners to reach their full potential.
